Invest Córdoba Capital: a new program
to attract investment to the City
The Municipality of Córdoba and Córdoba Acelera have launched Invest Córdoba Capital, a program aimed at transforming Córdoba into an investment hub by attracting both national and international companies to the city.
The program offers investment facilitation services through a network of contacts within government sectors and the private industry. Concurrently, it supports project execution processes in strategic areas and guides initial stages of business management.
During the program's presentation, Muriel Balbi, the program manager, stated: "At Invest Córdoba Capital, we are committed to providing investors with all the necessary information about business opportunities in Córdoba and facilitating connections with the public and private sectors."
Furthermore, Invest Córdoba Capital provides access to a technical team that offers market information, analyzes project success possibilities, and formulates diagnoses based on data evidence. This precise approach helps identify opportunities in Córdoba Capital, and in collaboration with the investor, defines business strategies.

The program aims to highlight the advantages of #CórdobaCapital as an investment destination compared to other competitive regions. Invest Córdoba Capital, along with international networking programs, promotes the #CórdobaCapital brand and positions the city as a hub for global investment and productive development.
Investment attraction strategies are implemented through agreements with partner agencies, meetings with diplomatic representatives and consulates in Córdoba, and exchanges with bilateral chambers. The program also participates in business rounds, accompanies investors during visits to Córdoba, and attends networking events as well as regional and international fairs.
Strengthening strategic ties with UK experts
UK experts led a session on global trends in the technology sector and business opportunities in Córdoba, in an event organized in collaboration with the British Embassy. The specialists emphasized the potential of Córdoba Capital to become an increasingly vibrant city. Additionally, they highlighted the diversity and development of the local productive ecosystem. The speakers were Chris Moore, a technology specialist; Arabella Hamilton, responsible for the Americas - Technology, Trade, and Investment at the UK government; and Simón Chat.
Memorandum of understanding with Panama
Invest Córdoba Capital has forged a strategic partnership with PROPANAMA, the Authority for Investment Attraction and Export Promotion of the Republic of Panama. The agreement seeks a framework of cooperation to collaboratively work on initiatives that encourage investments and business activities between companies from the city of Córdoba and Panama. The signing of the memorandum marks a historic milestone for the city of Córdoba, achieving an agreement between a self-governing entity under municipal jurisdiction and a nationally representative investment agency.
Attending the AmCham Business Transformation Forum 2023
Authorities from Invest Córdoba Capital and Córdoba Acelera took part in the 4th edition of the AmCham Business Transformation Forum, held in the City of Buenos Aires. The 2023 edition brought together 700 professionals and leaders with the purpose of providing tools and sharing best practices regarding transformation and innovation to the business community through experiences and cases. The Business Transformation Forum aims to be the meeting space where different perspectives and their key elements converge for the country's development, under the central premise of building through exchange and enriching debate.
Solidifying Relations with Uruguay
In a significant gesture of cooperation, authorities from Invest Córdoba Capital and Córdoba Acelera welcomed the Consul General of Uruguay in Córdoba, Oscar Piñeyro. During the meeting, key matters for the region's development and growth were discussed, along with the strategies implemented by Invest Córdoba Capital and the programs carried out by Córdoba Acelera. Furthermore, emphasis was placed on the air connectivity between Córdoba and Montevideo to enhance the tourism and commercial relationship between the two cities.
